Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was the director of communications for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. In the year 2000, Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. Her appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House, on May 30th in 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was with the Obama administration until the end of its term.
